| Summer Swim Camp:

As advertised we will be holding a one day a week
stroke themed swim camp. Each week will
focus on a different stroke. The camp will
be every Friday from 10:00-2:00. It will
include water, dryland and classroom
sessions. The cost of the camp is $60.00 for
full privilege members and $85.00 for Basic
members per week. Sign up for the week or
weeks that you would like stroke work on.
Swimmers must be able to legally perform the 100
IM and be able to handle 4 hourse of work and
physical activity. You can sign up at the
front desk of the YMCA.Listed below are the stroke
focuses by week:

Swimmers and Parents,
Hello again, summer is here and it is time to
start planning for the OCY Tiger Shark Fall/Winter
competitive swim season.
Enclosed is our swim team brochure for the
2009/2010 season, swimmer registration form ,
swimmer(s) group placement form and swim team logo
apparell order form for parents. All forms
must be handed when you register. Registration for
all returning members of the Tiger Sharks program
will start July 15th. Returning members will
have their spot on the team reserved until Aug
1st. After Aug 1st we will open the program up to
new members. The program stays open until the
groups are filled. Be sure to register on time. We
have been getting a great deal of interest for the
team and would hate to have to close out any of
the returning members. (People were turned away
last year.)

| Tiger Sharks 2009-2010 Swim Team

Red Group - (Ages: 6-9) This level is for
youngsters who can legally perform the four
competitive strokes and who are ready to learn
more advanced stroke skills and technique.
Stroke, turn and start instruction are
emphasized. Fun and participation while
building a love for swimming is the
focus.

| Intermediate School & High School Stroke Clinic

These clinics are designed for the competitive
swimmers who wish to maintain their aerobic base
while continuing to improve their skills in all
four competitive strokes. Registration
begins Aug 1st.

| 2009-2010 Zoomers Program

(Ages: 9 and under) This level is for children who
can legally perform a 25 yard backstroke and a 25
yard freestyle. Stroke instruction and a
basic introduction to competitive swimming will be
the focus of this group. There are novice
competitive experiences offered (This group
does not compete as part of the competitive
team). This Group meets once a week.
Starts 9/10.
Thursday Class - 6:15 - 7:15 PMSaturday
